Maserati GranTurismo Convertible coming in March 2009
Every time we see the Maserati GranTurismo in person at auto shows, times stops, everything else moves in slow-motion and we just admire its amazingly beautiful design and the smell of its interior. So how do you make something that’s already that beautiful even more attractive? You take its top off.
Maserati will be launching a convertible version of the GranTurismo next year.” The convertible will go on sale in March 2009, but we have not decided yet at which show we will unveil it,” a company source told Automotive News Europe at the Detroit Auto Show.
Basically Maserati needs a third product to reach its 12,000 sales target by 2011 and believes a GranTurismo convertible could help it get there.

Its a great looking car and I have driven it and totally have fallen in love with it, there are jus two or three things that I dislike about it:
1) Price tag its very very expensive, I would just save and wait for a year and a half and get myself a new F430.
2) Its sheer size, the car is not easy to park and is very long
3) The engine just doesn't cut it, the car is slow and now with the roadster weighting more cars such as the new Infiniti G coupe can outrun it in terms of acceleration.

I love the way the coupe looks but seriously, will it depreciate in half the way the Cambio Corsa did in just a few years? I like the Aston Martin Vantage in this price range for looks, exclusivity, and performance.
