Some Beautiful Vintage Maseratis

Took these at the Ferrari Challenge at Infineon

I love the Jaeger instruments on the Vintage Maseratis

Nice Stable - thats a Ferrari BB512LM in the background

This Alfa was a straight-8, twin supercharged torque monster. It was HUGE and sounded really good.

Mechanical artwork. I could stare at this motor for hours.

This too....

Absolutely incredible. Vintage cars really are the automotive equivalent of beauty. It's amazing how something so mechanical can be so beautiful at the same time. I absolutely adore that massive Alfa. It's an 8C, no?

^^^^
I had a chance to speak with the owner of the Alfa for a minute or so. I didn't ask what model. I was too busy asking about the motor, how much HP, and what it was like to drive. You are right....it is HUGE, beautiful and it sounded magnificent. It had a twin SC Straight 8 that sounded like big block V-8.

Enzo Ferrari used to work for Alfa when they first got into racing, iirc. That was probably about 5-10 years before he started Ferrari by building his own car.
