I would say go for one of the new active style ones..
One of the best ive ever heard - regardless of beemer - and when i mean heard i mean standing behind as it pulled away and drive by ..
was on a m6 and e46 m3
Was the one offered by Evolve.
Baring that I have a Supersprint full system and love its subtle idle but its way too loud for most..
