I got awesome offer for M550 that my local dealer got.

What are your thoughts?

Is it worth paying extra 15k Euro for same spec and extra 50bhp?

Spec that is ready tu buy with aout any orders if almost full option, but I don't like interior that is white/cream, and not sure if matt colour for daily use is best solution.
But on the other hand I've got awesome discount for this M550, but if I would order 535xd it would be 20k euro cheaper then M550.

Does any of you tested both of this cars?

coming from a chipped 335d, & drove an 550d for day.. i would pass and order a 535xd to your likings unless you want all the m badges and another tip dont take a matte car for a daily

i remember when i got my first 535d it was just 2.5k more then a 530d... now that was worth every single cent....

 

You guys are so lucky to have the option of buying a 550d with M package. That would be my next car if it was available for us stateside

 

I haven't seen one single test that said the M550xd was any good. It's very heavy and feels synthetic. Sure it's fast in a straight line but you got other cars for that. And fuel economy isn't as near as good as with the 535d...so take that one!

 

Forget about 550d, and just go for 535. It's not worth paying some extra money for 50 bhp, especially when you don't like the specification of that M550d...

 

THE 550d is only to do 250kmh on the autobahn all day long.... using little fuel.....
