Man, you last build was excellent and I can already tell that this one is going to be even better.

In the mean time post some pics of your E30 M3

Clubber, you have been quiet of late. I'm glad you have been busy with another M car! This looks like it should be another epic rebuild. Keep it up!

Thanks. M3 has been very neglected this year unfortunately. Could hardly put 200 miles this year. Although each of those miles were PURE JOY ! I'll take some new pictures next time I take her out. Probably with a duo shoot with the new M Coupé.

Hey Mike, yeah, things have been kinda busy o my side, I got engaged and caught up with wedding planning and etc.
This new M has been a salvation from all that struggle. I hope it will turn out even better than the Dakar one.

They really are hard to find. Especially here. There are 6 of them in total and this is my second one

Today, I put the second and third coat of paint on the block and finally it looks clean and new.

Now that the block was ready, we started the rebuild. Piston and rods prepped,

First the crank went in,

Then the pistons,

That was it for today, tomorrow I'll take the headers to my polisher to give it a much needed freshen up before install. Then my paint guy will take a look at the hood which was raped with bonnet clips to give me an estimate. And wheel lip resto will follow.
