Don't drop it! Jeff Koon's BMW M3 art car airlifted onto Pulpit Rock

2,112 feet would surely be a long way for this piece of M3 history to fall, luckily all went smoothly!

Let's just say you wouldn't want to be the guy who messed this one up. On an early August morning, the team from BMW Art Car project, after two days of anticipation for good weather, finally dropped their M3 GT2 on Pulpit Rock (or Preikestolen), Norway.

As one of project representative said it's a part of the tribute to the art - specifically he mentioned Edvard Munch (Norwegian author of most expensive painting "The Scream").

They we're planing to do few pictures and video, but the photographer came up with idea on the spot to gather all cliff visitors around the race car.

Take one of those rocks put in on the gas pedal and watch it fly off the cliff..

I love all of the Art Cars. But, this being a vinyl cheapens it big time for me. Tough to park it next to the hand-painted Warhol and Sandro Chia.
