Why not? It'd be a lot more costly to paint it. Wraps are the way of the future.

I agree. I'm a fan of wraps but...(Danger: Rant Ahead)...we all know there will soon be a small group of posers who b*stardize it via inferior versions sold at chain stores. Subsequently they will be applied to every vehicle that has already been subjected to "spinner" wheel covers, "Turbo" badging on an NA engine, 1-minute application window tint, and a sound system best known for rattling. (sigh)

In happier news...lol...that is a nice looking M! Looks like a blast to drive.

The real question is, why wasn't this blue offered as a factory option? Looks fantastic. BMW really should have offered a blue on the 1M.

I tried ordering mine with carbon black, no special order was the answer I had. Would have looked nice though...
