I really like the look of Singapore Grey... kind of like Space Grey with a navy blue mixed in, and I think it looks great with the blue calipers... I might go for the Black or Platinum interior...

Moonstone is just gorgeous, I saw a 760Li Individual in Moonstone last year and was blown away. The color is so elegant that I don't know if it matches the toughness of the M5 though... kind of like Grigio Ingrid on a 458. Either way, any color on the new M5 is definitely cool because the car is so impressive.

Thanks for the info! I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of this car and can't think of anything that could better replace the E60 M5!!!

Looks like it was an amazing time, great pics and interesting info as well! You stated you have a newfound respect for the 1M, I might have missed a post but did you get to drive one or you just rode shotgun in one? If so what are your driving impressions? I'm starting to like the little car as well.

This thread rocks! Thanks Jason for sharing your impressions of the M5 and 1M. I'm even more excited to see the next M3 now.

Looks like you had a great time! Thanks for sharing! :-)

I have to be honest, I was very skeptical to the change from NA to Turbo-powered engines at first. However, me and my uncle test drove the 1M, and my god was that a fun car! One of the most fun BMW:s in a very, very long time. The new M5 seems great as well. I'll take one in Singapore Grey with red interior..Mmyeas.

What a coincidence. I just got back from the same M Power Experience yesterday. Exact same program. It was incredible ! We had the best of time but instead of convincing me for a new M5, I fell in love with the 1M Coupe. Great write-up and pics Jason,

That 1M was a fun little bugger wasn't it? I'm glad you felt the same way too.

Jeremy Clarkson quoted the 1M as the funniest car in his newly released video: Clarkson powered up!

Take a look, great entertainment!

I think the grey M3 sedan is the best looking car there - love that
