Photoshoot: M3, M3 and M3

M3, M3 and M3
Words and Pictures by Jason Tang

A trio of M3 owners got together for a shoot one clear day and we had a little bit of fun. We thought we'd put one car here, there and the other on the other side. Each of these cars has a distinctive flavor all its own as created by its respective owner. The end result is what you see here. Truly a killer trio in grandiose form.

Because the black one was too low, it wasn't able to make it up to the top of the parking lot so we just had these two

The former Amazon.com headquarters situated in the old VA hospital makes for a great backdrop

Nothing quite like something wicked coming your way

Using sign language to spell out something... can you guess what?

M3, M3, M3's on the loose!

Sleeping beast within

Thanks Jeff, it was actually quite easy...take two pictures, one with the hood up and the other with it down and superimpose them together. It's the inbetween parts that's complicated.

By far the best execution of this style engine shot I have ever seen! Out of hundreds. Nice job JT.

Couldn't you take two exact same photos, one with the hood open and one closed. Layer them together and crop out everything but the closed hood. Then reduce the opacity on that hood?
