I'm fairly sure that's Laguna Seca Blue on the M3. You certainly don't see many new bimmers with that colour anymore.

It looks better on the M3 rather than the TT RS.

Leguna Seca Blue is a very interesting color and changes drastically with minimal light change. The first car has direct sunlight hitting it this making it brighter, All but one picture of George's car are in overcast lighting thus making it appear darker
