As a prior owner of an E39 M5, thanks for the shots, they look awesome. Although it was time to move on from the E39, it will always have a special place with me. Loved that car!

Great shots! Both M cars are fantastic. Two great modern NA V8 beasts.

Jason, I've seen your photos countless times on M5Board and they never get old. The E39 M5 is IMHO, the greatest, most iconic M5 ever made, plenty of horsepower, tons of torque and endless usability and practicality. The S85 in the E60 is a beast, but no M5 before or since delivers the entire package like the E39. Those BBS wheels on the E92 look awesome too.

Nice shots! The BBS are a good look on the e92.

e39 m5 is one of my all-time favorites. Don't' know how I feel about the lip. That m3 has some of the cleanest looking mods around. WIN

It's a simple concept really...you just need a tripod to keep your camera steady. Take two shots..one with hood closed and one with it open. Then you use photoshop to "overlay" the images together erasing the areas on the hood where you want the engine shot to show underneath. Turn down the opacity a bit and that's it.
