LOL

Pretty ballsy to say the least!

BMW dealer puts $40,000 markup on 1M coupe

"One California BMW dealer hopes to capitalize on high praise and low supply with an insane $40,000 markup. Pacific BMW in Glendale, Calif., resides at the epicenter of BMW ownership in the United States, and likely knows that the demand for the littlest M will far surpass the 800 the Bavarians plan to import, even at a sticker price of about $54,000."

I am not surprised, that dealership always has had insane mark ups on certain cars. The Infiniti dealership next door has a $5K mark up on everything they have on stock due to the extremely low inventory they have.

Just playing devil's advocate here... they can kind of ask whatever and I am sure if they are desperate to sell they will take whatever they can... but like the article said, I am sure there are many, many BMW dealers in SoCal that will have a couple 1Ms.

True.

Guess they don't mind looking like douches when enough ppl will come thru their doors and buy their cars 'just because'. I challege them to come to Cleveland and sell as many cars as we do with that big ol chip on their shoulders. The words "Smack down" come to mind.

That´s about what a 1M costs in sweden with no dealer markup. You guys have very cheap cars over there.
