Because when they installed the 2011 E90/E92 with the updated M-DCT transmission, 0-60 times dropped from 4.2s to 3.8s. source

and because it`s not necessarily faster around the track with a MT and mostly only you Americans are that crazy about MT because over here every standard car has a MT and people want something special & fancy when they buy expensive cars ,e.g DCT,F1 transmission etc

The performance stuff is a minor improvement compared to the design changes.

If we do end up keeping the M3, I am definitely getting the brakes from the CRT.

The seats, possibly, if you can get matching cloth/leather.

In another 6 month, you should be able to look up the part number and MSRP from realoem.com, then you can check out the price on Tischer's website.

That's how I plan on getting the brakes if we end up keeping the M3 sedan anyway.
