"According to the publication, the 1 Series M Coupe could have done better. It wasn't wearing sticky racing compound tires and the suspension was a bit too firm - a compliant suspension improves traction on bumpy circuits. In other tests of the new M Coupe, Sportauto clocked a 0-100 kph (62 mph) time of 4.7 seconds and a sprint to 200 kph (124 mph) in just 17.2 seconds."

"More impressively, the newest addition to the M Family beat a 320-horsepower rear-wheel drive Porsche Cayman S by two seconds and left the 300-horsepower BMW 335i coupe eating its dust a full eleven seconds later."

It beat the Cayman S, I didn't see any mention of the R. Would like to see a time of this car with PSCups and a properly setup coilover suspension.

until you drive one on twisty roads

the 1M is good as long as it`s dry and the surface is even...
on bumpy backcountry roads it`s said to suck bigtime
