Whatever vin you type in when ebay asks you the vin is what shows up. The vin the guy typed in on the listing is not the original factory vin, or the vin issued by DMV at the port of entry. The DMV can also deny, retroactively, any previous registration, so i'd be 100% sure on how this was imported, and what legal loophole was used.

It is also not the only CSL in the united states. Diplomats are allowed to bring private vehicles over to the US (no import regulations, no taxes) and they are allowed to sell them here once their posting is finished. Its on the west cost (or was, when i last had an update on it, about 3 years ago).
