So, I picked up this red monster about 2 weeks ago. Gotta love that M engineering. I'm starting to look for some coilovers, and the straight pipes go on next week. The sound that this engine puts out w/ an exhaust setup is just sick....gets you so rev happy. Anyway, check out the pics.....not the greatest lighting. The paint looks much more vivrant in person.

Me too, my father used to have an individual purple over crema and it was extremely clean.

 

Ahh... Imola Red, congrats! Consider the Dinan offerings for suspension, as it adds a nice subtle drop that is a perfect match for either stock 18" wheels, or 19" aftermarkets. Also, if you're willing to dish out a little more coin, go with a (used) exhaust instead of straight pipes. The mufflers have a much more interesting sound, trust me. Finally, check out your swaybar brackets, they are flimsy and prone to snapping (beastpower.com for replacements).

 

Thx for the kind comments. The interior is two-tone...black and red w/ silver titanium trim.

I have never been a fan of the two-tone interior, but in person.... it looks much better. I think that pics don't do it justice. I was lucky to get a very clean car.

Also, M5Kid.....I agree that mufflers give it a a much more refined sound. I will definitely have to look into them. I like the way that the Kellners mufflers sound.
