2012 BMW M5 (F10) Final version testing in Mojave Brown Metallic

Well folks here is another BMW M5 F10 prototype spied testing again in Germany which has basically lost all of it's camouflage. This is the first one we have seen though in BMW's Mojave Brown Metallic. As with our previous reports the full production model will make its public debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, while sales begin in November with prices starting from roughly £75,000. BMW has also confirmed of late a X-Drive variant will be available (First time ever for an M-car) so we will keep you updated on any further test mules and developments as they come our way.

^^^ Agreed. It's growing on me. Starting to appreciate the lines on it a bit more.

Like the front but that might be because the bumper looks like that from an M3..

Can't wait to see the final production model. Just hoping that the prices don't climb into the stratosphere.

I am sorry but must disagree.
The general styling looks generic and pedestrian. The car looks "heavyand lumbering".
There's nothing edgy about it. SORRY.
The new S63 engine (V8 TT) will run a stock 17.4 psi. Pretty steep and one would believe leaving little room for modding except as I am informed the OEM internals will have forged pistons and valves therefore allowing pushing the tuning to greater limits.
I love the S85 V10 and with the soon to be released ESS SC'er ... well look out.
As a "mental masturbation" I would have love to have seen BMW M Division to have developed a 7L V10 NA engine with 650 bhp / 530 tq but then my dog licked my face and woke me up.
