Liked the E46 cab, although not a car I would buy. The new cab is not pushing any of my buttons - at least not the "I like" buttons.

What I don't understand is why BMW are jumping on the folding metal roofs train now. Canvas roofs will be premium car solution in the future and the folding lines on the new M3 roof isn't doing it any favours...

No, I'm still waiting for the estate version. Love the front, and the coupe profile - but I'll never get used to the bottom rear of the new M3. Ever.

Meh, the new E92 coupe has barely grown on me to extend of tolerability. The Conv looks so wierd.

Besides the lines, and weight of the hardtop convertible, you're approaching $80,000 for an M3, no thanks.

I know add another 20K to your budget and buy a used 911 TT.

Yeah, you can get a lot for $80,000. It seems even M6 convertible prices are in that range.

If I was looking for a convertible, I'd settle for a 335ci and do something else with the rest of the money. Think about it... you get a great motor, dynamics, and the same creature comforts (besides the killer stereo) for $25,000 less. The M3 convertible seems to sacrifice both the looks and some performance along with being way too expensive. Down the road add software and exhaust and have a killer car.
