I can't get over how BMWs keep getting BIGGER. The new 5-series is almost as big as the former 7-series. It's only 200 lbs lighter and 3 inches shorter. And it's 500 lbs heavier than the old 5-series.

That exact info is why I am unable to take this "sports sedan" seriously.

 

I dont think it looks that bad, more tame like the old e39, but I dont think I would ever really like the car, I might be the only one who thinks the M6 rims in gloss black look great, but this car is too beefy, and I dont like the idea of a twin turbo v8.

The old m5 had subjective taste at the begging of its life, but the v10 motor was truly great.

I dont think this car will have any of the charm of the older cars, even the e60

 

Don't think it looks any better than the current M5

 

BMW did the same thing last time, I'm sure we'll get proper M mirrors on this as well...

I think this is way better looking than the previous model. It ought to be one hell of a car too.
