Car looks amazing, but am I the only who saw that the car looks to only redline at 6200rpm, shouldnt it be more like 8000rpm??

just wondering I say that it looks like you did the whole engine swap, did you just keep the instrument cluster from the 318i??

looked through the whole thread and there didn't seem to be more info on the engine swap or anything, but I wish bmw would have made this car from the factory.

I hate how everywhere else besides the US the get all the cool wagons RS6, M5 etc....

It's because the car is in warm-up mode to prevent over-reving while still cold. Redline will move up as the car is up to temp.

God Im such a noob lol, I've driven my buddies in newport at least a dozen times, but I guess its never been that cold where the engine has had to warm up.

But I do remember his e46 m3 doing that when he brought it up to SF on a few chilly mornings.

haha thanks I was just really concerned by that for some reason as the rest of the care is flawless
