In the days of the e36 m3s dakar yellow seemed to be a fairly common/sought after colour. It still looks amazing on the new E92, but it is not a colour that I would personally buy.

On a side note,

With this new M3 I think that there are pretty much three or four mandatory mods:
wheels (of course),
better brakes to eliminiate the instant fade that the stock ones seem notorious for having,
more aggressive seats as these ones are a bit too 'luxury' for the performance of the car, (M3 take note of RS4 seats)
some sort of rear wing or csl trunk lid to develop more downforce for the rear end.

i think Estoril Blue would look great on an e92 m3.

 

Can't believe I'm saying as I am usually so opposed to these yellow/orange/other vibrant colored BMW's/Porsches etc... But that Dakar Yellow is niiiiice

 

That color would accentuate the orange peel paint wouldn't it?

Our white one is bad enough.

 

Thought I'd never get one in yellow, it looks good!
