I like the latest 5 series platform, and imagine the upcoming M5 will be a wonderful car.

OH YES!!!! Simply love the design of the new 5 series to begin with, MILES ahead of the last generation. Being an M5 just makes it even better.

I can't wait until we get one at the dealer so i can drive it!

Looks pretty aggressive to me, except the exhaust looks a little too tame.

As previous have stated, the new 5-series is just amazing, and left it's competitors standing miles behind it.

Now if the new M5 will look anything like this, I will have to pick up my jaw from the floor everytime I see one, my god does it look good!!
The only things missing on the Photoshopped one are the M-Power Bulge on the hood, and a bit of a more aggressive rear design (A bit bigger exhaust pipes, and the small M trunk-lip would complete the look.)

I would but it if it looked like that

I'm glad there isn't a long wait for this model compared to the last one

I am a passionate M5 lover. For me it's the best 4 dr sports sedan.
Now this new generation on first impression does not work for me.
It's way to smooth and bland. Not edgey at all.
The leading edge of the hood is to obvious as a straightline. Stands out too much and doesn't flow with the curvature of the nose.
The car just looks soft. Looks like a big 4 dr. M3 expecially the front bumper.
The wheels totally suck. Not the size but the design. Way too bling. Look for a Caddy or a Lexus but they can be changed of course.
I'm happy to keep the E60 M5 and the S85.

I hear you Ranger. The E60 is def a keeper! All of pics above may be totally off. They're just artist renderings.

I've had some discussions about the design with BMW reps. They aimed to make the design appeal to a wider audience (women). BMW has gone back to a more classic design. Headlights have more of a E39 (straight and swept down on the sides) look. Kidney grills are upright - more like E39. I think the overall package is classy and sporty. The F10 should look a lot better in M Sport, and M5 trim.

Have you seen these pics yet? These look like they will be prodution wheels (19").
