When stock, the car dynoed at 391whp on Race fuel. BMW's claimed crank HP is 507.
507 - 391 = 116hp drive train loss on the M5.
And since my drivetrain is the same ( same flywheel, tranny, driveshaft and difs ), the drivetrain loss is a fixed figure.
So if we add the lost 116hp to the current 474whp, we get a crank HP figure of 590hp.
I'm short of the 600hp by 10.
Since I am running on 91 Octane MON pump gas ( sulphured ) I will hopefully dyno again with 99Octane Race fuel, I am hoping to break the 600hp mark. Fingers crossed.
