"By popular demand, here are some new, improved photos of the BMW M3 with Competition Package unveiled two days ago at the Geneva Motor Show. Allow us to give you a quick recap of the Competion Package (ZCP). The package enhances the chassis by installing a 10mm lower suspension and 19” wheels with greater offset for a wider track. ZCP also includes remapped Electronic Damping Control and Dynamic Stability Control systems. Design wise, modified rear lights with glass covers in a homogeneous red color provide an additional visual accentuation in the BMW M3 Coupe. With two harmoniously illuminating light banks fed by LED units, they create a characteristic nocturnal design.
The M3 with Competition Package also comes with an exclusive but optional color: Monte Carlo Blue."

Any word on how much the package is supposed to cost?

 

Looks awesome, love the subtle changes. I bet the package will be overpriced for what you get though.

 

Remember there's a difference between ZCP (comptition pkg show above) and the "Edition Model" like MikeS has. $2500 isn't a bad deal considering what's offered. "Individual Colors" like Monte Carlo Blue, and Frozen Gray, can be ordered as a very expensive option.

The M3 Coupe, Sedan, and Convertible models become 2011 models this spring. BMW ups the ante on the M3 Coupe and Sedan by offering a new “Competition Package” for MY2011. The package further enhances the highly responsive chassis by installing a 10mm lower suspension and 19” wheels with greater offset for a wider track. Combined with remapped Electronic Damping Control and Dynamic Stability Control systems, the M3 with Competition Package is the best handling production M car ever built.

M Models M3 Packages/Options

M3 E90/E92: The Competition Package is added at a retail price of $2,500. The package further enhances the highly responsive chassis by installing 19” wheels with greater offset for a wider track, and a 10mm lower suspension. Combined with Electronic Damping Control and Dynamic Stability Control, both remapped for better corning, makes the M3 Coupe or Sedan with this package about the best handling production M car ever built. This new package includes:

- Electronic Damping Control with new Sport mode mapping
- 19” wheels (style 359M) with performance tires
- Lowered M suspension
- Modified DSC mapping

The MSRP of MY2011 M3 Sedan, Coupe, and Convertible remain unchanged at $56,275, $59,275, and $67,925, respectively. All prices include $875 Destination & Handling. The Competition Package is available on the Coupe and Sedan models for $2,500.

 

The ZCP is cool and all, but the fact that i can turn my car into a M3 GT4 is a lot cooler
