That's a great color for the E92.

Did Mike post a thread on his acquisition?

Hi Alex, thanks. No I didn't post a thread, it was sort of a last minute decision to purchase the car. So I just diverged from another thread

Congrats Mike, this is probably as hot as a M3 can get.
But what are you gonna do when one day a bright orange M3 GTS pulls up next to you?

He goes right back home and picks up his LP640 or Aston V12

Haha thanks Ludas. I will have to bite my lips and look the other way I didn't want to wait for the GTS as I don't want too many hardcore track cars which I can't use all the time. Especially when it's a BMW. If it's a Porsche/Ferrari/Lamborghini which you don't drive all the time anways, that's ok to live with. Plus the Superleggera and Exige S are there already

Yea I totally get that, the M3 really is an awesome everyday car with great performance. If I could chose just one car to have the M3 would definitely be way up there on my list. I saw this M3 in the flesh at the IAA and it looks stunning, the black wheels are spectacular.

It's an excellent everyday car! It's what I use it for even though it's a six speed manual.
