Hi Mo.

I'll do those modifications as soon as the motorplan has expired. The dealers here are extremely sensitive and anal about ANY modifications. It's not like most of the world where it have to be proven that the aftermarket part caused a failure or damage to the car.

Here they reserve the right to just cancel outright if they see ANY form of mechanical modification to the car.

Only exhaust I can put on is the AC Schnitzer without voiding the warranty. I don't want to go this route as ACS prices are ludacris and sounds almost stock anyways. I learned that after forking out $6000 US for a pair of ACS pair of rear silencers for the M6 and it almost sounds stock IMO.

You need to have someone takeover the biz and live somewhere else 75% of the year to enjoy your cars!

You can't put on DINAN? That is another route and they're exhaust sounds sick.

DINAN backs up the factory warranty. So say your dealer says no, DINAN will pay for all parts that the OEM warranty would cover.

Hi av, we don't have Dinan here and although it may comply with BMW North America. It does not apply here

I'm in the same boat as you as far as mechanical mods are concerned. Warranty will fly out of the window as soon as I start messing around with even an exhaust! Stock car is very nice if not as vocal as I would have liked it to be but I'd hate to loose my warrenty.
