nice day for a test fit

A friend of mine came over today to test fit my 18x10 18x11 Kinesis Supercups on his M coupe.. figured I might as well take some photos. The wheels are et0 all around. The amazing thing is, we used a 1" spacer on the rear to get it out far enough.. meaning without the spacer, there could be an inch more lip on there, possibly even two inches more depending on tire size. The fronts do poke a bit, like they did on my M3. I have 2" outer lips that could be swapped on if neccesary. I think if I were to run them on an M coupe, I'd leave the fronts as is, and swap on 5.5" outer lips for the rears, making them 18x13's.

By the way, if anyone is interested, this setup is for sale.

Anyways, enjoy the photos!

and what they looked like on my E46 M3:

I really hate the Z3 Coupe but the M3 on the other hand is amazing

Interesting you ask.. both cars have a very different feel. the z3 M coupe was produced from 1999 - 2002. The first two years, the car came with the s52 motor, which is the e36 m3 motor. The second two years of production, it came with the s54 motor, which is the e46 m3 motor.. 330 hp. There were far less M coupe's produced from 2001-2002 than there were from 1999-2000, so roughly 80% of the z3 M coupes you see on the road are s52 cars. The s52 M coupes sell for $14k - $20k, the s54 z3 M coupes sell for $18 - $30k. In my opinion, the z3 M coupe is more fun to drive.. they are just so tiny, so light. Not as well balanced as the z4 M coupe though. The z4 M coupe is a GREAT car, like a bat out of hell. These came with the s54 motors, and they are like an e46 M3 on steroids. I just love the feel of the z3 M coupe though, they are so small, the spacing in the interior is great. The e46 M3 is too big for me, too heavy, which is why i'm selling mine.

Way stretched, VW-fanboi style. I like an aggressive fitment, but this is a bit impractical and over done.

VERY nice, cars, wheels - everything!

Do you have a side profile pic of your M3 with the wheels?

Almost hellaflush

A bit too much poke for my taste, but looks good overall. Wheels look better on the Z3 M Coupe. Good job.
