I finally saw the new 7 with the non Bangled trunk and it actually looks decent.

If the new 5 has the non Bangled trunk, then it already looks a million times better right out of the box.

No doubt that looks good, however, that just looks like a very slightly tweaked M3 saloon. Just new headlights and bigger grilles. lol.

Yeah, but the E36 and the E34 also had this resemblence.

Why screw with what has worked so well?

Recently, automotive companies have been using the CTRL+C and CTRL+V method. Granted this is just an illustration by an enthusiast, an E36 enthusiast to be specific.
