As much as I love that car, the alcantara steering wheel just doesn't work with the luxury interior. It needs the rest of the sport pack, imo.

wtf....I`ve never seen a E39 M5 nor did I know that BMW built them

I`ve just searched the web and found out that there were just a couple of them(like 2 or 3) and that they were specifically made for a few high ranking BMW employees

so who knows...maybe there is already a E91 M3 Wagon around ....or a M5 coupe..or some other funny stuff the engineering department may have created.

Car has alcantara headliner, so it might work in person.

Love that car! The E39 M5 body is amazing. Look at the way the doors, mirrors, wheels, and body detailing all work together.

We seriously looked at getting one of the handful of properly federalized E34 M5 3.8 touring, but the mrs balked at the 35K price since the car is worth no more than 20K for an awesome example in Europe...

Too bad. Maybe after another year or two of the S4 Avant's atrovious gas mileage she will relent.

Last commuting tank was 11MPG.

The 3.8 S38B38 is way better than that.
