evosport - e46 M3 S/C Track Car Build 2 (Mild)
Hey all! We have been uber busy over the summer, and a lot of that has been working on a bunch of new track cars. I posted a teaser thread on three of the cages we were working on, and this is a more detailed thread on one of these three cars.
Background:
This car was a pretty tricked out street car. Shaved handles, suede interior, S/C, audio, etc. However, the owner decided he could not get his adrenalin from the street anymore, so he turned to evosport to help him with is fix.
Here is the exterior:
Here is the first part of the cage work:
Here is the finished cage:
More pics to come!
Thanks
Brad

There is no homologation needed here for SCCA, CCA, POC, NASA, etc. We have no FIA races, so we don't need to take that step. I have no doubt that they could pass if we did go through the process based on the engineering and analysis we have done.
Certified for? Again, there is no "certification" needed per-se. The only thing they may need based on certain racing bodies is an inspection hole.
As it is, our cage builds are accepted by BMW CCA, Porsche POC, SCCA pro and club, NASA, etc without detailed inspection. This is based on the design, our reputation and experience with the racing bodies.
Thanks
Brad

The reason I ask Brad, is cause we import most of our cages from the UK for our series championship cars... was wondering if you guys would be interested in customizing cages as per our specifications? We are planning on introducing an E46 series next season.

Yes, that is no problem. Simon (my partner) speaks Arabic as well and was just in Dubai for the show. So he could liaison this very easily.
We have great fabricators. In fact, the lead fab now is the ex-lead from the Saleen S7 street and race car project.
Please feel free to email me direct - brad@evosport.com
thanks
