Arrow BMW X5 M engine sound (start up)

Listen to the new twin-scroller 555 horsepower engine. I'll save judgment till I drive it and here in person.

Sounds pretty good

Nice videos!!!
very interesting!

Sure,I can translate the highlights for you...not word by word, but I guess you`ll still get the picture

So they found that the X6 makes a very good compromise between ride comfort and handling performance.
The car has a electronic damper control which makes it more comfortable in normal mode, but when being in sports mode it becomes a completely different car.
The dampers get harder, the steering feels heavier and any body roll is being prevented by the damper control system by instantly hardening the dampers in corners.
It also features the M button which allows you to individually adjust the handling and performance settings to your own preferences.
Another thing that amazed them was the constant availability of power throughout the entire rev band without a noticeable turbo lag.
It has torque from the lower revs on but revs high like a NA engine.
Speaking of torque, the test driver did really like the fact that the torque is always being transferred to the axles and wheels in a very logical and efficient way.
When pushing out of corners, most of the torque is being transferred to the outer rear wheel,so that the car is really being pushed out of the corner back into the straight.
Even though it has AWD,there is no understeering at all and it remains neutral when turning in and may go over the rears when really pushing it.
As a conclusion they said that the X6 has earned the M-badge,even though it can`t hide it`s weight(when braking into a corner) and that it combines the advantages of a luxury SUV with the characteristics of a sports car.
