2008 M5 Question
#11
I'm thinking M5 as a daily driver and then like a 430 spyder or LP560 spyder as a weekend car. Seems to be a ton of M5s for sale on autotrader with less than 10K miles for under $65K. I'd perhaps do a lease trader deal but would want one for around 24 months so I can dump the car when the 2011 M5 comes out.
BTW, I am 5'3", below the waist.

That's b/c it was, my pops has got one and despite the fact that its a great car, the gearbox doesn't really feel like it should be there.

I've sat in my freind's E60 5-series and had the same problem with fit there too.

Yep, noticed it the first time I drove one. Although a little clunky at lower speeds, the SMG unit does work well.

Didn't seem, Travis it was - from it's inception it was designed to only have the SMG, IIRC after they saw a demand for the manual gear box only then did they bother.
