Its 1 of 6 Dinan turbo sold new as a dealer option here in the Bay Area. Its a 20-22k option consist of a Dinan low comp built motor , Turbo setup and Dinan suspension.It carried a Dinan factory warranty instead of BMW since new. There are 3 known in existence. The other 3 in no where to be found. The other 2 I know of has over 170k miles and never had any major issues.They are both used in track and street. Mine has 65k orig miles and never been tracked. I left the motor the way it is except for a open air filter and changed the suspension to coilovers. I had the car stripped down to bare metal and restored back to new using all new euro factory BMW sport evo parts .
