2010 M6

Anyone have any info on the 2010 M6? I did some googling but didn't find much other than it might have the M-DCT box and there may be a CSL type version. Anyone have any links I can check out?

No word on the bimmer boards that I frequent.

And CSL version might be dead.

Still no brembo brakes.

Thanks. That's what I thought. Maybe we get some info soon.

I follow several BMW boards as well, and it's the same story. Lots of ///M enthusiasts are obviously upset about the X5 and X6 M derivatives, as well as the comments in the Ludwig Willisch interview, which essentially ruled out high-revving NA motors in the next gen M3,5,6,etc. Seems pretty obvious to most observers that the next gen M5 (and probably the M6) will get a version of the 4.4L TT V8 employed in the trucks.

I can only speculate concerning the CSL version; it looks unlikely since there was no E9x M3 CSL.

The only people who buy M6s instead of F430s are the guys whose wives or girlfriends won't let them have an affair with an Italian. You're single so I think you know what to do here...

M6 Competition is out now, but I can't say its that much of an improvement over the standard car. CSL version, not gonna happen, and if it does F.U. to BMW for dropping the M3 CSL.

Here's a Driver's Republic comparison between the M6 Competition and the 997TT.
