When I was in high school, one of my good friends acquired a 2002 E46 M3, with SMG. The car had to have SMG since he was unable to operate a clutch (Still isn't, as a matter of fact). One day, he was discussing a sufficiently badass vanity plate for his new beast, and I facetiously recommended "TRBO ETR" ... he loved it.
He drove the car for probably 7-8 months with "TRBO ETR" on the back of it, and never once verified the claim on the tag, despite numerous invitations from inquisitive owners of turbocharged cars. He also added a totally sick CF hood.
Truth be told, he was more interested in using the car as a "PSSY GETR" ... that didn't really work out either.

When i first got my G37S i thought about getting the vanity plate LOL 335.
then i decided that since 335's were time after time proven to be faster it wouldn't be appropriate.
Great plates on those M's though lol.
