I believe in NY there's an "AMG LOL" plate. I think it's great, but agree AMG ETR is by far the best.

When I was in high school, one of my good friends acquired a 2002 E46 M3, with SMG. The car had to have SMG since he was unable to operate a clutch (Still isn't, as a matter of fact). One day, he was discussing a sufficiently badass vanity plate for his new beast, and I facetiously recommended "TRBO ETR" ... he loved it.

He drove the car for probably 7-8 months with "TRBO ETR" on the back of it, and never once verified the claim on the tag, despite numerous invitations from inquisitive owners of turbocharged cars. He also added a totally sick CF hood.

Truth be told, he was more interested in using the car as a "PSSY GETR" ... that didn't really work out either.

When i first got my G37S i thought about getting the vanity plate LOL 335.

then i decided that since 335's were time after time proven to be faster it wouldn't be appropriate.

Great plates on those M's though lol.

Both are great plates. As for your HS friend, sucks to be him, missing out on the joy of a clutch.

Yeah what's up with that, like it's so hard to learn how to drive stick...
