The steering on my M5 was the car's worst feature. Overassisted recirculating ball FTL. My 90Q 20v had a much better rack.

(hehe, I said "rack")

Just trying to stir the pot up. Buahaha.

^unless they drop the price a bit on the rs4 it wont really be an m3 competitor.. if i recall correctly both the e9X (sedan, coupe, cab.. whatever) and the 2008 rs4 have 420 bhp and the rs4 has a bit more tq.. and the rs4 was what, $10k more base? i don't know if the option pricing is the same for the high end BMW/Audi's, but when i was pricing possible car options a year or so ago, (335i, G37S, Audi A5) the A5 fully optioned ended up with a greater price increase than the 335i optioned out did.

plus the rs4 is awd
