If he tracks it, he might need the downforce. I agree, it looks like crap though.

Take the ricer wheels and ricer wing off of it and it would be an OK track toy.

Or, leave all that on there and add a "GOT RICE" vanity license plate.

That car was ruined when they began assembling it at the BMW factory.

Shame what BMW cars have turned into.

Nah, the new M3 is a really nice auto but I do admit the looks of the E46 CSL blows it away

I am sure the car drives great, but BMW hasn't introduced a good looking car since the e46 M3 (and even that was a step down from the e36 and e39, relatively of course).

I have put about 10k miles on an e60 M5, and the performance and handling are great, but the transmission in automatic mode is the worst I have ever used. The car is always shifting at the wrong time. I also think idrive is the most ass backwards system ever created for a car, takes twice as long to do anything and you spend too much time with your eyes off the road trying to change things.

I used to be a huge BMW fan, but their entire lineup now a days is ugly as sin (exterior and interior).

lose the wing, tow hooks and decals and i think it looks pretty good. rays, works and other japanese wheels are getting popular among the euro crowd.

Looking at pick 1 - where the rear seats would be, the car looks pretty stripped out. With the brake upgrades, sponsors vinyls - certainly sure this is a track toy and nothing more. Doubt it will ever drive much on public roads.
