You are wrecking the perfect weight distribution (50:50) the car has!

The car will be heavier in the front and being a rwd car, that´s not a good idea! The back will be more loose and unstable, in my opinion

Why not have chosen a different car?

"Hey honey, I ruined our perfectly good new car but we're saving .2 of a second to 60!"

Why would you do that to an M3? It's made for everyday driveability and that includes back seats and carpet. If a lightweight race car is what you wanted, buy a GT3.

Doesn't make any amount of sense. I would have been impressed if the car were on a track, not parked in a cul-de-sac.

Maybe it will make it to a track, curious what the weight is and what else is in the works...those wheels arent the lightest out there either, but they sure do look sick

Weight removed is still better than weight distributed.

I've done basically the same to my E46.... and by the way it's 50/50 front to rear and left to right with me in the car and 1/2 tank of fuel thanks to the coilovers and corner balancing.
I bet that thing sounds insane inside at WOT!
I applaud the efforts to improve the car from a performance standpoint.

If he's going to track it props... otherwise a bit unecessary but I think it looks good.

PLEASE though, change the liscence plate frame.
