A friend of mine has a 47' and he loves it. I personally dont know much about those boats but I hear nothing but good things! GL with your purchase.

I always heard that they were a slightly substandard constructions...

Yes i agree a brand new one last summer cracked in half and sank off the coast of Block Island not good.

I have never like the styling of Carver's. They look old quickly, and look cheaply put together. I don't know anything about them, so I am not one to ask. However from a styling point of view they look bland. From the look of the hull, they don't inspire any confidence in me. Just my opinion though. You'd be better off with a Formula.
