They're actually constructed of wood/expoxy & Aramid (kevlar to you and me) - ends up being stronger and lighter than typical Fiberglass construction and easier to produce custom than using carbon (which would also be prohibitively expensive)

I've just stumbled across their new boat on the "ondeck" website... it's apparently being launched in June... looks similar but in a smaller package... no news about it on their website though...
