I have no idea if they are broke or not. It wouldn't surprise me, many boat builders are having trouble. These times have not been easy.

What I do notice about Sunseeker is that they keep building bugger and bigger boats. A few years back their biggest boats were 30m. They are now selling 40m boats

Are sunseekers crap?

 

Sunseeker is a very nice production boat I have a few friends that have them. That in the video doesnt look like one but I am not a boat guru I only know what I know.

 

IMO yes. As Marc says, they are a nice production boat. However for the price of an 80 predator there are many other boats I would rather have. They are not custom boats, and they are essentially all the same. I would prefer to have a boat that is slightly more unique. Also the way those things are wired is crap. I would say Sunseeker is like Lexus, and Leopard/Mangusta/Baglietto/Cantieri di Pisa are like Rolls Royce. Ferretti is like Mercedes.

They do seem to be building bigger and bigger boats. If they are having troubles I am sure they will come out of it.

It definitely is a Sunseeker.

 

I actually like Sunseekers. About the current status of the company, I saw an article in Motorboat (June2010 I guess) that They had a rough year and made some loss of 9.2 mil (if I remember correctly) but according to the article they are still alive.
