Nissan GT-R vs LP640 rolling dragrace [video]

Just watched this on another car site and I'm quite impressed by the outcome. Although these japanese tests seem to be quite subjective and often produce some interesting results, this does show how quick the new Skyline is in a straight line.

yet another biased race, the lp was being shifted short of its redline every single time

Both cars are being shifted before redline though...

Subjective, but the LP640 still had about 3.5 cars on the GT-R.

what is LP's redline? 8k? or 8.5k?
if it is 8k then they were shifting at the redline.

I cant believe they short-shift the lp...pretty pathetic. Regardless, the GTR is very very quick.

I'll say it again... both cars are being short-shifted. It'd be unfair if one was and one wasn't but that's not the case.
