Nissan GTR gets airborne and crashes [vid]

Wow....on a side note, the feeling the guy in the GT-R had during that whole crash had to suck sooooooo bad. I can't imagine how I would feel had I just crashed my 6 figure car. Nice save and hopefully they were ok.

The GT-R apparently suffered an estimated $15,000 of damage in this crash. It was towed to Frederick Nissan with damage to the front bumper, front and rear diffuser, radiator and oil cooler. The airbag reportedly did not go off. Moreover, it was in the first mile of the 60-mile cruise.

From a poster:
"Pause at 00:14 to see the Nissan with all 4 tires in the air.... now look at how close the intersection is.
I decided to dig a little deeper, using the sign of Ballenger Creek Pike I found the road in Maryland, the only round-about on it is at Elmer Derr Road.
Based on the telephone poles being on the right of the cars, they were heading northwest on elmer derr approaching ballenger.
I watched the video, the nissan landed right at that single tree on the left. That tree is visible on google earth. Using the ruler function it is about 350 feet from that tree to the intersection (assuming the position of the round-about which isn't on google yet).
I then used an online stopwatch and started it when the nissan passed one telephone pole and then stopped it when he passed the next (mid jump)... I get between 0.8 and 0.9 seconds. Google Earff says they are 180 feet apart. He moves 180 feet in .85 seconds. Crunching the numbers that comes out to 144.375 MPH."
