Acura shows the new NSX Concept in China, Paints it Red

For the 2012 Beijing Motor Show Acura decided to paint the NSX concept in color appropriate "red" for the fans in China. Let's call this one "China Red" until Acura officially names the color pallet, shall we?

At first glance of the press shots Acura put out we thought this was a simple photoshop, click and add color here, but the supporting pics from show us this is the real deal. Thanks to Autoblog for the tip!

I understand it's China but Red is not the right color choice for debuting this car. They should have gone with the metallic / light brown in the Superbowl commercial.

 

The more I see it, the less I like it. And I really want to like it.

japanese cars are not all that popular in china. i think acura has a tough time selling these. they are better off marketing these in taiwan and hong kong.

 

I think it looks outstanding in red. Really digging it, actually.

I'm ready to see one in black too.
