S2000?

S2000?
So my parents are giving me the chance to trade in the Camaro for something else and I've been thinking about an S2000 as a replacement. I'm trying to look forward and want something I can actually afford to upkeep later on down the road, but still want it to be fun.
I'd appreciate any advice from previous owners or anyone that's had experience with one. I know they're pretty reliable for the most part but I'm wondering is there's any common quirks or problems I should be looking out for.
I think we're going to check this one out on Friday: 2006 Honda S2000, $22,990 - Cars.com
If someone wouldn't mind running a carfax that would be great as well. VIN is JHMAP21486S000174

S2000 is an incredible car, more fun than any other one I've owned! That 06 sounds expensive though: I bought a new 06 when I first moved back to LA and I don't think I paid more than 34k back then. Surely you could pick one up for 15-20k by now?

Just took a look at your link, 40k on the clock, are you nuts?
Much better deal: 2006 Honda S2000, $21,906 - Cars.com
Look further than 30 miles away!
In regards to ownership, I had my car for 18 months and that's the longest I've managed to keep any car since I was 18.
Weak points: the paint is seriously thin and suceptible to chips. The car needs regular alignment as it can be knocked out easily and the car feels crap if not remedied. The lack of tq. Can be a real pain in the ass If you live in a city without canyons or good roads get something with more straight line speed. AC is shit with the roof down if it's over 90 out ( to be expected) and other than that not much more. It's a great dd and I truly believe there aren't many cars that can be more fun on a daily basis.

Thanks for all the input guys!
I definitely thought about the STI and EVO but for some reason the S2k caught my eye immediately, I kind of want something NA too. I've always loved and wanted a manual roadster and figured this would be a great chance to live and drive with one every day. Part of it has to do with where I live as well. I drive some of the most spectacular backroads I've ever seen to and from school every single day. I will keep looking though as I'm not set on one thing just yet.
That silver one you posted Josh does seem like a better deal. I didn't think 40k miles was too many for this kind of car though, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt as a previous owner.

S2000 over an STi or Evo IMO (this coming from a subaru owner).
The S2000 is more reliable, will be cheaper to maintain, and is overall awesome. The STi, Evo, and WRX all have enough weak spots that if you drive them hard or competitively they will become very expensive very fast (ask me how I know).
