Round Infineon with the LFA
I had the chance to get some seat time in the LFA earlier today up at Infineon Raceway thanks to the Lexus Precision Tour. We did some autocrossing in IS's they had there as well as some track time in the ISF, all well and fun. The LFA however, was pretty special.
LeMans driver Justin Bell was there and I had him take me on a few hot laps in the LFA, here is a shaky vid of one of those laps.

I got that impression in no time, the elevation changes add a challenging dynamic, even in the ISF. Turns 6 and 10 with Bell at the wheel definitely did a bit of rearranging to my insides.

Did you get to drive the LFA yourself? Looks like a good time.
Is there a way to disable that beeping? It is the most annoying sound. Lexus should trust owners know when to shift and the car has a rev limiter anyways I'd think

What a cool experience, Sir. I hope you enjoyed it.. should be something considered as a once in a lifetime achievement. I would kill to hear that exhaust note, especially in the cabin. DAMN! Who else can say they have drove one? Well, I probably shouldn't ask that here on TS, haha

The aspect which left the biggest impression on me (other than the sound) was the braking power. As quick as the car was, it never felt that control was an issue. We skated around the track with little drama. The car remained planted nicely through 6 and had the ability to brake late into 7, carrying a fair amount of acceleration through 7a and the chicanes.
Overall a remarkable car and memorable experience. I would compare the feeling to that of a Ferrari 575M, only tidier. Whether or not it's worth the price tag is subjective and I don't have enough experience to compare it to other modern super cars so I won't venture an opinion. However, I highly doubt it would leave even hardened skeptics disappointed.
