As others have already said, you're really going notice a difference with the tune. I'm leaving my STI at stage 1, but even that was a significant improvement from stock. Enjoy it

 

I was going to get a roadtune to complete my stage 2, but instead I went with the cobb accessport. My good buddy had a stage 2 WRX and bought the accessport for the stage 2 with a few maps on it, he went stage 3 and sold it to my other friend for stage 1. He told me the other day he will garage his WRX for a while to get it fixed and cut down on my miles and sold me the accessport with a few stage 2 maps on it. Programmed the accessport to my car moments ago and took it out and holy wow does it fly now.

 

But is it really smart to run someone else's tune? I suppose the both of you don't share exactly the same aftermarket parts.

 

Cobb has a lot of different off the shelf maps to download which support a wide range of mods. He should be fine...though nothing beats a custom dyno or road tune.

 

Jon make sure you datalog to check fuel trims and such. Last thing you want is the motor popping!

I will dump the accessport soon and get a custom tune. But first, I think it's time for some wheels. I have a set picked out, but I want to see your suggestions.

 

Played on the Scoobs perhaps, but it's tough to beat a set of Volks on a WRX.
