It's unfortunate that there wasn't a strong japanese presence in the states back then. We never got any of the cool cars until the recent import craze picked up. The 510 BRE and Z are probably the only cars of that era that have a real strong cult following in the states. However, with sites like japanesenostaligccar.com, I think we're gonna see a lot more of these kinds of classics getting recognition.
