GT-R Configurator Online

I don't know if this is old news, but it was new to me. Nissan USA has a configurator for the GT-R on the GT-R microsite. It's easy to navigate there from the Nissan USA site.

The configurator itself is very good - the colors are sharp (and named differently from the ones I put in the poll), the interior looks good, etc. I am DEFINITELY getting the premium one now (RE070 tires, Bose surround sound, more airbags, heated seats, etc.). It's only a couple grand more than the base one - completely worth it IMO.

Also, since a winter option is available, I'll probably score a set of the winter wheels/tires for use in the cold months. Let's just hope the dealer isn't a complete asswipe when I go to see them on Friday.

Good luck Chris. Just so you know, rumor has it that there will only be 5-10% base models in the US and ordering one would be a delay in delivery date. So good choice, premium is the way to go, unfortunately the "black" edition is not available here (red & black interior).

Also the winter package changes a lot more than just the tires. You get the silver wheels (instead of darker black ones) if you go w/ this package and there is also a change in fluids used and it won't perform as well w/ these fluids. Let me know if you have any other questions, I've been through the process and researched it quite a bit before pulling the trigger. Best of luck on Friday!
