Switzer 580 hp GTR Intro PKG

Hello, all -
over the last few months, it seems like the dealers' supply of GTRs has almost caught up with demand and people can (for the most part) go into a dealership and buy a GTR they want with minimal wait time - and we've received a number of inquiries about a more basic, "stage 1" sort of package from these new GTR owners who are just now getting into the cars and starting to explore their limits on the track.

In putting a "stage 1" kit together for these clients, we tried to address those key items that these inquiries were most interested in:

- reduced weight
- usable performance
- maximum forward compatibility
- the best possible "bang-for-the-buck" value

With that in mind, we're pleased to announce Switzer's new 580 HP INTRO TUNING PKG! Priced at 4990, this titanium mid-pipe + cat-back exhaust + Cobb AP + Switzer roadrace tune + drop-in package delivers significantly increased power (more than 50 additional whp) and significantly reduced weight (more than 30 lb. weight savings compared to stock) in a package that won't require clients to re-buy anything when they decide to move up to higher-horsepower tuning packages in the future.

AND ... to get more of these kits out "into the wild" at track events this summer, we're going to sweeten the deal by offering an additional 10% discount to TeamSpeed members through the end of June, and free shipping anywhere in the continental US.

This kind of increased performance without potentially harmful wastegate actuators, fuel-cut devices, etc. is only possible now due to the hard work by the guys at Cobb tuning, who have made big forward progress possible for everyone in the industry in recent months with the last few rounds of updates to the Cobb software, which allow more access and control than was previously possible. With the improved Cobb tools and our on-site Consult III hardware, Switzer is now able to offer a simple, effective upgrade to the stock GTR that delivers the same kind of linear, turbine-smooth driving experience our P700 and P800 clients rave about in an affordable, entry-type tuning package that is a great stepping-stone to the bigger kits without the need to re-buy anything when you do decide to go for more.

I want to thank everyone involved for their support and feedback over the past few months of testing, and also want to thank everyone out there for taking the time to explain exactly what you wanted out of a "level 1" kit. Thanks again, and hopefully we'll see you on-track soon!

Jo/Tym/Neil,

Have you guy's completed Mike Abougoush GTRXXXX yet. I live in the same town as Mike.

I know he wants to run my car but it would be pointless as his car will be much faster than mine!

Cheers,

Ben

Just out of interest:

Have you sold any of the P700/P800 kits in continental Europe, particularly Germany? Would it be possible to get a German TÜV license for it?

It is hard to say, because we have dealers in California, etc. who have sent kits to Russia and Dubai, for example. As for clients who have bought the kit directly from US, I think we have 2 in France, 1 in Germany, 3 in the Netherlands or Belgium, and another 2 or 3 in Sweden.

Something like that.
